Salary Range: Base rate $61,189.34 per annum + Northern District and Leading Hand allowances ($65,489.76 per annum) + Approx. $18.5K Live Sewer Allowance, paid at time and a half for eligible work

We have 2 exciting opportunities to join our Wastewater Services Team to keep our operations running smoothly everyday!
What You Will Do:
As a Ganger - Wastewater Services, your primary objectives are to operate as directed by supervisory staff in maintaining all aspects of the sewer reticulation system, ensuring customer complaints are actioned within service standards, and keeping the relevant team leader informed of required maintenance/improvements necessary to maintain reticulation assets.
Your duties include but are not limited to:
Repair sewer reticulation blockages in accordance with customer service standards.
Repair lateral connection (jump up) blockages in accordance with customer service standards.
Maintain high pressure sewer cleaning trucks and equipment to ensure efficient operation.
Install sewer extensions or lateral connections as required.
Inspect / Investigate and record manhole asset integrity for follow up repairs as required.
Perform Reactive high pressure flushing of sewer main blockages as required.
Perform surveys of reticulation systems to identify illegal Storm water and groundwater inflow.
Operate in conjunction with the vacuum tanker crew to remove silt and sand from sewer lines.
Who We Are Looking For:
Secondary education to Year 10.
A current MR Driver’s License to drive fleet.
Construction White Card.
Current confined space accreditation and/or ability and willingness to gain accreditation.
revious experience in the maintenance of wastewater reticulation assets.
Physically fit and willing to work in outdoor environments (you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical)
Basic Computer Skills
Good writing skills and an understanding of basic mathematics.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Proven ability to supervise, guide, and motivate a small team effectively.
Demonstrated reliability and commitment to delivering work to a high standard.
Strong practical skills in organising resources and solving operational challenges in wastewater reticulation.
