You'll lead the planning, coordination and delivery of major building and maintenance projects across the department's statewide built infrastructure portfolio. Your work will support the safety, functionality, and long-term sustainability of court and justice facilities across Queensland.

You will play a central role in managing complex projects end-to-end, working closely with stakeholders such as the Department of Housing and Public Works and QBuild to ensure delivery aligns with key priorities and government frameworks. You will also contribute to policy and system improvements, risk and performance management, and strategic property and facility planning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the design, procurement, and construction of significant building and maintenance projects as the client-side project manager
• Building and maintaining strong partnerships with key delivery partners and stakeholders
• Monitoring and reporting on project performance, budgets and milestones
• Providing expert advice to senior leadership on risks, priorities, and property and facility needs
• Supporting governance, risk management, and continuous improvement in built infrastructure delivery

3. Demonstrated experience in applying contemporary building project and program management methodology, resource management techniques and analytical skills to monitor financial performance, identify risks, solve problems, and develop and implement innovative operational solutions.
4. Proven communication, stakeholder engagement, and interpersonal skills, including an ability to consult and negotiate with others to achieve corporate objectives.
5. A demonstrated ability to manage building infrastructure project compliance in accordance with relevant legislation, standards, policies, practices, and procedures, and provide executive-level reports and advice.
