Meli is seeking a skilled Data and Reporting Analyst to lead the development of robust reporting systems and data infrastructure. In this role, you’ll work closely with teams across the organisation to deliver meaningful insights, streamline reporting processes, and support informed decision-making. Your expertise will help ensure our services are guided by accurate, timely, and actionable data.
About the Role
As a Data and Reporting Analyst, you will:
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting tools for operational decision-making
- Build and manage a scalable data warehouse architecture and optimise ETL processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine reporting requirements and ensure data quality and compliance
- Translate complex data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational goals

- 1 FTE working 38 hours a week
- $106,644 p/a + Super + Salary Packaging

What We're Looking For
We value individuals who bring dedication, empathy, and expertise to their roles. To succeed in this position, you will have:
- Proven expertise in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modelling, with the ability to design and deliver insightful dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret data to identify trends, correlations, and actionable insights using statistical techniques and data mining methods.
- Strong experience integrating data from multiple CRM systems, HRIS, and payroll systems, with solid SQL and ETL skills for managing and transforming complex datasets.
- In-depth understanding of modern data warehouse concepts and tools (e.g., Azure Synapse, Snowflake), including experience in optimizing data pipelines for performance and scalability.
- Experience developing and implementing data governance policies, establishing data quality standards, and conducting audits to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for non-technical audiences and effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the business.
