Senior Business Analyst (Finance)
Roster: Initial 5-month casual duration| Monday to Friday, 7.6 hours per day
Location: St Kilda, Melbourne

Skills & Experience

• Proficient in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Experienced in conducting various types of financial analysis.
• Capable of interpreting complex data sets through data cleaning and transformation.
• Skilled in visualising data using reporting tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• Proficient in advanced Excel (Pivot tables, Xlookup, Power Query) and Power BI for data visualisation and reporting are both essential for the role. Experience with TM1/PAW and basic SQL skills for data extraction are preferable.
• Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset with the ability to present findings to stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Create and maintain interactive dashboards using Power BI.
• Automate data extraction and transformation processes.
• Collaborate with functional areas such as sales and fleet to gather relevant financial/non-financial data.
• Respond to financial queries and conduct analysis, including variance to budget, job profitability and cost analysis as requested by management.
