About the role

Clear Thinking Mental Health Group is seeking 2 part-time Psychologists or Mental Health Social Workers to join our growing team in Ballarat, Victoria. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic organisation committed to providing high-quality mental health services to the local community. We are particularly seeking staff with the skills and training to undertake ASD and ADHD assessments in addition to other related tests. Staff without these skills are also required for MHCP, TAC, Workcover and other work.

What you'll be doing

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions with young people or adults to aid in screening and diagnosis of ASD or ADHD.

Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs

Provide counselling and support services for a diverse range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma and relationship difficulties

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and integrated care for clients

Maintain detailed electronic client records and contribute to the organisation's continuous quality improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

A degree in Psychology or Social Work and current registration with the appropriate professional body

Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis and evidence-based therapeutic interventions

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and work collaboratively with clients and colleagues

A commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in the field
