We are a leading Property Maintenance which prides itself on providing high-quality work to our large commercial clients. Due to increased business demand, we are developing and expanding our Brisbane-based team. We are on the hunt for an awesome Property Maintenance Carpenter to join us.

Scope

You will be reporting to one of our very experienced project managers and your responsibilities will include:

· Variety of trade jobs in Carpentry

· Use of selected hand tools and hand operated power tools.

· Effective Communication in the workplace.

· Participate in toolbox talks

· Management of yourself and an Assistant to achieve required timelines and standards

· Effective communication with your Assistant, management and customers

· Operation of a smartphone app to produce job reports and manage tasks

· Proactively identifying, reporting and solving issues with your Team Leader

Required skills

· Drivers Licence

· White Card (Prepare to work safely in the construction industry)

· Well presented with sound communication skills

· Ability to set and achieve own goals and work by yourself

· Previous maintenance experience with experience working on high profile sites in the Inner Suburbs of Brisbane.

Desired skills

· Current First Aid & CPR Certification

· EWP ticket

· Qualification in building and construction industry (Certificate in carpentry and /or building and constriction, etc)

Note: We can also help you with any licence and certifications to ensure you have the skill.

You will need to be:

An experienced Carpenter in building and construction sector with at least 2 years of work experience

A committed team player with a strong focus on promoting a safe work culture.

Currently living in Australia.

Location - Able to work in south east Queensland

· Position: Permanent – full-time
