About Us:

Kool Beanz Suns Harrup Park and Kool Beanz Bridge Road are state-of-the-art childcare centre located in Mackay.

As a family-owned company, we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing and supportive environment for both our children and our team members.

We are currently seeking a Maintenance & Gardening Person to work across both centres 5 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively as part of a close team to maintain a safe and attractive environment.
• Perform general landscape garden maintenance, including caring for lawns, hedges, trees, and weed control.
• Operate company equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Proactively identify, report, and solve maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve timelines and maintain high standards.

Requirements:

• Strong work ethic and commitment to quality maintenance.
• Punctuality and reliability in meeting work schedules.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members.
• Willingness to obtain a Blue Card.
• Ability to set and achieve personal goals and work independently.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work independently and part as a team.
• Own transport for commuting to the childcare centres.
