Swimming Pool Technician - Clark Rubber Toowoomba

Are you an experienced pool technician, looking for your next opportunity?

Clark Rubber is a retail icon in the Australian market and is well known for its foam, rubber and pool categories.

This position is predominately out on the road with our growing Pool Service business and in our Pool shop in store.

The successful candidate will:

Be able to work autonomously without supervision but also be able to work as part of a team.

Have excellent communication skills including strong written and spoken English.

Be well presented, polite and professional in dealings with customers.

Take pride in their work.

Have a passion to learn and grow their knowledge.

Be comfortable using automated pool scheduling and water testing systems

Key responsibilities include:

General pool maintenance including cleaning, testing & balancing all types of swimming pools.

Green pool clean-ups

Routine maintenance, troubleshooting & repair of swimming pool equipment, including pumps, filters, chlorinators and pool cleaners.

Sales and installation of new equipment.

Quote Generation and follow up.

Scheduling and inventory management.

Working with the rest of our team on general duties

Working in the pool shop from time to time as needed.

Candidates should have:

Have a current manual, unrestricted drivers licence with a good record.

Experience in onsite pool maintenance and repairs.

Highly motivated, hardworking, trustworthy with a positive attitude.

Great customer service skills and working with a team.

Have a great work ethic and enjoy what you do.

Previous plumbing, electrical or gas experience would be an advantage but not essential

Have the ability to work unsupervised with great time management skills.

Enjoy outdoors and engaging with customers as needed.
