The Role

Due to an increase in customer demand, we are seeking a person or persons to join our friendly Maintenance team for preventative maintenance duties and machinery breakdown repairs throughout our two factories. You will be working with both electrical and mechanical aspects of industrial machinery.

The role will involve inspection, repairs and regular cleaning of large scale laundry machinery and equipment on a daily basis in a very busy environment. Working with electrical components, steam lines, water and air operated equipment is required.

Skills and requirements

• You will be capable and confident and have previous experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery.
• An Australian Electrical qualification or license will be very highly regarded.
• Experience in working with PLCs highly advantageous.
• Any licenses such as forklift or elevated platform or additional trade qualifications would be advantageous, however ongoing equipment and site training will be provided for the right person/s.
• Our ideal applicants will demonstrate strong communication skills and be enthusiastic and willing to learn, physically fit and able to take direction and perform maintenance tasks efficiently and competently, while displaying a calm, approachable manner.
• Must have current driver's license and own reliable transport.
• Great communication skills, can do attitude and team player mentality is a must for the role.
