A leading cosmetics company is seeking a detail-focused Import Compliance Specialist to join their Regulatory Affairs team. This permanent role is ideal for someone who understands compliance and import regulations, particularly for beauty products from Korea, Japan, and China.

You’ll ensure that cosmetic products meet all Australian (AICIS) and New Zealand (NZ EPA) regulations, including correct chemical registration, product labelling, and liaising with customs.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure products meet Australian and NZ compliance standards
• Register and categorize chemical ingredients (AICIS & NZ EPA)
• Check labelling is compliant (AU & NZ regulations)
• Liaise with customs and border authorities
• Monitor regulatory updates
• Keep accurate records of compliance work

About You:

• Degree in Chemistry, Regulatory Affairs, or similar
• 3+ years’ experience (or strong academic/internship background)
• Strong understanding of AICIS and NZ EPA
• Great attention to detail and documentation skills
• English fluency is essential
• Ideal: Proficiency in Korean, Japanese, and/or Chinese
