Stewarts Engineering is seeking a qualified and experienced tradesperson for the position of Project Supervisor/Manager. to oversee our ongoing offsite projects.

Stewarts Engineering is a family-owned Fabrication business located in the coastal town of Esperance, WA. Established in 1989 by the current managing director. The business has grown to be a highly respected metal fabrication establishment who is known for their quality service and products.

About you:

The ideal candidate will have a strong fabrication background, experience overseeing & completing projects, display effective communication skills, be a positive team member and be independent in their work.

Description:

The role is hands on position offering a diverse range of duties including hands on fabrication work offsite and onsite at our workshop. You will be responsible for overseeing & assisting on projects and actively promoting a safe and productive environment, delivery schedules are met and quality standards are achieved

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE.

The successful applicant will have strong communications skills and display initiative in the management of staff. Additionally they will satisfy the following attributes:

Proven experience in project management within an engineering or related industry.

Trade qualification in Fabrication/Fitter/Engineering.

Strong knowledge of site and workshop project operations, including planning, execution, and quality control.

Proven welding/light fabrication experience in MIG, TIG and OXY (3+ years)

Comprehensive working knowledge of plate work, structural steel fabrication and construction work.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, team members, and stakeholders.

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Proficiency in adhering to Occupational Health and Safety regulations and implementing safety best practices.

Ability to lead and motivate a team, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.

Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and work demands

Autocad / Solidworks experience an advantage.
