About the Role

Nova Orthotics is a small allied health practice that provides high-quality orthotic services to children with disabilities across the Hunter New England region. We’re currently seeking a friendly and organised Receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis and help keep our busy clinic running smoothly.

This is more than just a front desk role — you’ll be a key part of a passionate and supportive team that genuinely loves what we do.

Key Responsibilities

Greet clients and manage front desk operations with warmth and professionalism

Schedule and manage appointments efficiently

Handle client inquiries and booking requests over phone and email

Prepare quotes and liaise with physiotherapists and other health professionals

Confirm NDIS funding availability for clients and liaise with the agency

Maintain accurate patient records and handle confidential information securely

Provide general administrative support to clinicians and practice management

What We're Looking For

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Able to multitask and adapt quickly to changing situations

Confident using computers and keen to learn new systems

Strong attention to detail and highly organised

Experience with Xero, NDIS Proda and clinical management systems is a bonus (but not essential)
