The Oportunity

We are looking for a Service Technician to join our team based in Bassendean. This role is vital in keeping our clients’ fitness equipment running smoothly, with a focus on delivering excellent service, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

Whether you have previous experience or you’re mechanically minded and eager to learn, we want to hear from you. We offer training and support for the right person, including those looking to start their career in the trade or service industry.

Salary packages are negotiable and based on your experience and skills.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide range of gym and fitness equipment

Respond to service calls efficiently, providing on-site technical support and troubleshooting

Assemble and install commercial exercise equipment in gyms, recreation centres, mine sites, hotels, and other locations

Communicate clearly with customers, providing professional service and support

Maintain accurate service records, reports, and administrative tasks

Stay up to date with industry products and service procedures

Some regional travel and occasional overnight stays may be required

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused attitude

Current WA driver’s licence (minimum 3 years driving experience)

Mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills

Strong communication and problem-solving ability

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

A current Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one

Desirable:

Trade background or previous service technician experience

Knowledge or interest in fitness equipment

Forklift licence and White Card

Basic electrical or hydraulic troubleshooting skills
