About the role

This full-time Mobile Service & Sales Technician - Hydraulic hose role is with Pirtek Port Hedland. You will be responsible for providing on-site servicing and repairs, assembling and replacing hydraulic hoses and fittings for customers in the local area. This can be a FIFO role out of Perth or residentially based in Port Hedland.

What you'll be doing

Inspect, diagnose and replace hydraulic hoses and fittings on customer sites

Carry out scheduled maintenance checks and preventative maintenance on hydraulic systems

Provide technical advice and solutions to customers with hydraulic equipment and components

Generate sales leads and assist with the sale of hydraulic products and equipment

Maintain accurate records and job reports

Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Relevant mechanical trade qualification

Previous experience as a hydraulic service technician

Demonstrated ability to diagnose, recognise and repair hydraulic equipment

Excellent customer service and communication skills

A current LR Manual driver's license and the ability to travel to customer sites

Well-developed problem-solving and time management skills
