About the role
The Associate Director, Global Partnerships and Business Development is responsible for leading the development and management of transnational education (TNE) partnerships, international business development and partnership initiatives and student mobility programs, as part of the Yes to International Students Fund by the Victorian Government. You will provide strategic oversight of offshore higher education delivery, ensuring alignment with accreditation requirements, institutional and University goals.
You will:
- manage the visionary leadership and strategic direction for the Global Partnerships and Business Development team;
- establish, manage and maintain high-level relationships with government agencies, industry partners, and educational institutions to drive global engagement and growth;
- be responsible for the overall management of inbound and outbound student mobility programs;
- lead and manage complex international education projects; and
- identify and pursue opportunities for innovation in global education and develop solutions that enhance international learning experiences.
About you
Reporting to the Executive Director, Global, you will have a demonstrated ability to establish, maintain and foster collaborative and mutually beneficial relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, corporate partners, and educational institutions, both domestically and internationally.
You will possess:
- extensive knowledge of the key operational, regulatory, and accreditation requirements for onshore and offshore higher education delivery;
- demonstrated excellence in project management skills with a proven record of successfully managing all aspects of medium to large scale projects through to completion (including in an international context);
- demonstrated experience identifying challenges, analyse complex issues, and developing and implementing innovative solutions, enhancing international education, student mobility, and transnational partnerships; and
- highly developed planning and organisational skills, with experience in setting strategic priorities, allocating resources effectively.
