Motionwave Technologies is a Managed IT Service Provider that focuses on providing a single point of contact to Australian small and medium businesses. We specialize in Microsoft 365 and Azure Technologies.
Role Purposes
To help existing and new customers and new customers with issues on their Microsoft Cloud Platform.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage Microsoft 365 and Azure environments. Some tasks that the technician will be doing are:
- M365 accounts management e.g create, delete, password reset, Online Exchange management
- Azure Virtual Desktop Management – troubleshoot any issues with virtual desktop environment
2. Web hosting management
- Good understanding of all DNS records e.g A record, MX record, SPF record
3. Windows 2019 and above server management
- Update Windows
- Troubleshoot any issues with the Windows server
4. Basic networking skills
- IP Addresses – Subnet
- IP Address Classes
- Routing/Switching
5. Desktop Support
- PC/Laptop troubleshooting on Windows 10 and above operating system
6. Research and Development – Improve knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure technology.
Functional Competencies
Experience
- The incumbent should have at least 3-4 years of experience in a Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud support role.
- The incumbent should have at least 3-4 years of experience in supporting the Microsoft Windows Server operating system

Key Performance Indicators
- Resolve any customers’ issues with their technology platform with minimal supervision.
- Update time spent helping customers in Autotask on a weekly basis.
- Ability to resolve any technical issues involving Microsoft 365, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Server environment.
