Demolition Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

· Interpret and implement demolition plans, engineering drawings, and reports

· Develop, explain, and adjust structural demolition methodologies

· Undertake risk assessments and modify methodologies to ensure safe, efficient, and timely completion

· Oversee multiple projects and provide hands-on support where needed

· Coordinate permits, service disconnections, and authority approvals

· Assist Operations Manager to Allocate resources

· Supervise workers, subcontractors, and ensure plant/equipment compliance

· Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, WHS inspections, and manage incident response

· Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials (asbestos, silica, lead)

· Monitor progress, enforce site rules, and manage worker conduct

· Notify clients of potential variations and issue approved scope changes

· Inform offshore team of all agreed variation works for documentation and processing

· Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams professionally

· Provide regular project updates and contribute to planning/reporting

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years’ experience in structural demolition leadership

5 Structural Demolition project Reference.

Strong knowledge of WHS regulations and AS 2601

Proven ability to manage teams, subcontractors, and high-risk demolition works

In-depth knowledge of demolition machinery, equipment, and lifting techniques

Impeccable understanding of plant capabilities and required licences

Relevant licences and VOCs (Demolition Supervision, Asbestos, etc.)

Cert IV Demolition

Asbestos A Class Supervisor (Optional)

White Card, Silica & Asbestos Awareness card, Blue Card, and valid driver’s licence
