The Role
We’re looking for a reliable and motivated Level 1 Helpdesk Technician with 12+ months of experience in IT support. You’ll be the first line of defence on our service desk — triaging tickets, resolving Level 1 issues, and delivering an outstanding customer experience across a wide range of environments and clients.
Key Responsibilities
Handle incoming support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system
Accurately triage and prioritise tickets
Troubleshoot desktop, email, printer, connectivity, onboarding/termination issues
Provide clear, user-friendly communication to clients
Escalate unresolved issues to Level 2 engineers when needed
Follow up and ensure timely resolution for all assigned tasks
Maintain accurate notes and documentation
Stay positive, proactive, and solution-focused
Skills & Experience
Minimum 12 months in an IT helpdesk or technical support role
Strong customer service and communication skills
Basic working knowledge of:
Microsoft 365 admin & support
Active Directory (user/group management)
Windows Server and Windows 10/11 environments
Remote desktop tools
Relevant IT qualification (Cert IV, Diploma or similar)
Excellent time management and willingness to learn
MSP experience highly regarded but not essential
