Keg & Brew Hotel is seeking a full time Junior Sous Chef and CDP to join the kitchen brigade.

Holding a prime corner position, this upmarket four level pub with a lush rooftop is located in Surry Hills close to central station. It's a destination venue with quality food, craft beer, great wine and traditional brews.

If you're okay with handling volume then come and join the dynamic end of town.

Sound of interest? Here's what you'll need –

A minimum 2 years experience. You're solid as a Junior Sous or CDP and the senior team can rely on you to get the job done

Your CV should show your career progression and cookery qualifications

Have experience in an upmarket pub environment

When needed, liaise with suppliers, support the process in placing food/stock orders and contribute to monthly stocktakes

Be strong on both prep and service with availability to join your team working days, weekends and nights on a 7-day rotating roster

Monitor the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and production

Demonstrate techniques and advise on procedures inclusive of preparing, cooking and preserving food along with hygiene regulations

Scale up or down in-line with business pace while maintaining a quality product delivered on the plate.

Be interested in contributing to menu ideas

Be energetic and enthusiastic

Form strong relationships with senior stakeholders

Be organised, motivated, responsible, accountable and be accustomed to meeting deadlines

Maintain food safety standards and hold current certification

Have strong administration skills and be computer proficient

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills - English is a must

Honesty, trustworthy, reliability and accountability are all something you'll need to stand by

These are full-time roles.

You are required to have pub experience which is in NSW.
