We are looking for a paralegal to join our practice based at Shailer Park in a role focused on property conveyancing work. You will work under supervision and learn to perform:

- Preparing and reviewing contracts of sale and vendor disclosure documents

- Conducting title and property searches

- Liaising with clients, real estate agents, opposing solicitors, banks, and other stakeholders

- Drafting correspondence and legal documents

- Assisting with settlement bookings and post-settlement procedures

- File management and administrative support

Essential qualities

Enrolment in a law degree or Diploma of Legal Studies

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with conveyancing or legal software (e.g., PEXA, Smokeball) is a bonus

Being able to commit to the equivalent of at least three days of work per week

Desirable Qualities

Having completed at least one semester of tertiary studies in Law

Completion of Torts, Property Law and Contract Law units preferable

Previous experience of working (volunteering) in admin or legal role

Previous experience working with database and government portals

Willingness to work full time hours during University break

Ability to speak an African or Asian language highly preferred
