About the Organisation
We are delighted to be partnering with a privately owned Australian firm in the building wholesale & construction sector who is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager. This is a newly created role to establish the TA function and build a small team of 3-5. The business has around 3,500 employees spread across Australia over 100+ sites.
About the role
The role is Sydney based in the office 4 days a week and is responsible for establishing a recruitment function; driving and enhancing recruitment processes to ensure the successful acquisition of talent that is aligned with business needs.
Responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with hiring managers and leaders in identifying hiring needs and helping with creating or amending the job description, advising on sourcing strategies
- Management of the end-to-end recruitment cycle from advertising to referencing and onboarding
- Partnering with agencies and third-party providers
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for key roles within the business
- Coach and mentor managers/leaders on best practice, talent engagement and interview techniques
- Lead on key projects such as implementation of the ATS & HRIS
- Tracking market data and internal recruitment metrics
- Provide insightful and meaningful data to support workforce planning
About you
To be successful in this role you will ideally have previous experience hiring volume roles in a blue collar and white collar environment; a very consultative approach and enjoy building relationships. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, have excellent communication and influencing skills and experienced building and managing a team. Relevant tertiary qualifications are also preferred.
This role will start as soon as possible and is paying up to $180,000 + Super
