MARS Recruitment is partnering with an ASX-Listed Financial Services firm to recruit a FP&A Manager on a permanent basis. In this pivotal role, the FP&A Manager will provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making and long-term planning. Key responsibilities include leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes while delivering in-depth financial analysis to drive performance and inform business strategy.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, a commercial mindset, creative problem-solving skills, and exceptional communication capabilities.

The Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver regular Board, ALCO, ELT, and management reporting.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting (quarterly, annual, and five-year plans).
• Support ASX results presentations and investor relations updates.
• Provide leadership and finance support across key organisational projects.
• Contribute to policy reviews including Liquidity, IRRBB, ICAAP, and capital management.
• Oversee Group Treasury reporting including daily liquidity, stress testing, and funding operations.
• Assist in investment decision support and capital allocation.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and prudential standards (e.g., APRA, AFSL/ACL).
• Manage ICAAP reviews, funding plans, and recovery & exit plans.
• Act as ALCO Secretary and support market risk analysis and reporting.

The Requirements:

• 7-10 years' experience in banking/financial services.
• CA, CPA, or ACCA qualified.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to align actions to broader business goals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Commercially curious with the ability to link business performance to financial data.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling capability.

To Note:

• The hybrid working model is 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
