We’re a rapidly growing allied health business on a mission to connect people to healthier lives — and we need a Finance Officer / Assistant Accountant who’s not just great with spreadsheets, but also thrives in a team, communicates with clarity, and gets a buzz from digging into the numbers whilst keeping an eye on the bigger picture.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the CFO, you’ll play a key role in our finance function — ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and meaningful reporting that supports decision-making across the business.

What you’ll be doing:
Preparation of end-to-end monthly management reports
Overseeing payroll tax calculations and compliance
High-volume client invoicing
Providing backup support to the Accounts Payable Officer
Using Halaxy, Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI and Xero
Collaborating with the CFO and CEO on financial performance and reporting
Oversee vehicle fleet coordination — manage staff allocation, service schedules etc
Handle employee expense reimbursements processing claims accurately and promptly.
What we’re looking for:
CPA or CIMA qualified ideally
Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills – essential
Experience with Power BI reporting (bonus points!)
A keen eye for detail and excellent time management
Commercially minded – you understand how finance impacts operations and how to work with operational units.
Exposure to businesses with $20M+ turnover – you can cope with a growing business.
A growth mindset and drive for improving systems and efficiency
A warm communicator and natural team player – someone who enjoys working across teams and building trust

Guardian Exercise Rehabilitation’s provides prescription of therapeutic exercise based-programs for individuals afflicted with injury or illness, principally under a compensable-injury policy, principally across Workers’ Compensation, Life Insurance/Income Protection and Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) / Compulsory Third Party (CTP) schemes.
