SUMMARY:

Ethical and well-known Australian FMCG company requires an experienced, commercial/FMCG lawyer to join their legal team.

Work includes everything you would expect to find in an FMCG expanding nationally and internally – Commercial contracts, IP, consumer, logistics, compliance, governance.

THE ROLE:

From the small through to the strategic, support and lead negotiation and management of commercial contracts, nationally and internationally.

Provide day-to-day legal advice and training to the business.

Provide guidance on national and international legal issues, including intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.

Collaborate with the Head of Legal to help the business scale and thrive responsibly.

Monitor global legal developments and advise the business on potential impacts.

ABOUT YOU:

At least 8 years’ legal experience, including extensive commercial contracts and ideally FMCG experience.

Experience providing legal support for global operations, including intellectual property and regulatory compliance.

Ability to simplify complex legal concepts for non-legal audiences, ensuring clarity and accessibility.

Proactively identify legal risks and opportunities, providing pre-emptive advice that balances compliance and commercial objectives.
