Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct investigations into planning and compliance matters
• Enforce relevant legislation, regulations, and local laws
• Liaise with stakeholders including members of the public, internal teams, and external agencies
• Prepare reports, evidence, and documentation for enforcement actions
• Manage case files and maintain accurate records
• Support broader enforcement and regulatory objectives of the team

Suitable Backgrounds:

Band 5 candidates (general investigations experience):

• Local Laws
• Animal Management
• Environmental Health
• Government investigations (local/state/federal)

Band 6 candidates (specialist planning-related experience):

• Planning Compliance
• Town Planning
• Arboriculture
• Police investigations (may be considered)

Key Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in compliance, enforcement, or investigative roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
• Relevant qualifications or certifications preferred
