About the Role
This isn't your average BSO gig.
The Business Support Officer (BSO) is a hybrid role that blends high-level administrative support with deep operational and client services knowledge. You will be juggling competing priorities, managing executive tasks, and ensuring compliance and coordination across disability services operations.
This is a role for someone who moves fast, thinks faster, and remains calm in the storm. You’ll manage the Director’s schedule, inbox, projects, and client deliverables, while keeping your finger on the pulse of internal workflows and NDIS obligations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Draft and oversee NDIS service agreements, referrals, and incident documentation
- Track operational projects, audits, and compliance logs
- Liaise with families, allied health professionals, and internal teams
- Keep CRM, SharePoint, and all records up-to-date and audit-ready
- Execute daily admin with accuracy, urgency, and polish
- Implement smarter systems and workflows across the business
- Manage a high-demand executive diary, communications, and priorities
Who You Are
- You’ve worked with or supported senior leadership in a high-speed environment
- You don’t need to be told twice—you anticipate, organise, and act
- You have NDIS or disability sector knowledge (preferable) and can handle sensitive info with tact
- You’re systems-savvy: Microsoft Office, SharePoint, CRM – all second nature
- You can pivot effortlessly when plans change
- You make things happen—accurately, on time, and without fuss
KPI-Driven, Impact-Focused
This is not a role where you coast. We’ve got clear, structured KPIs like:
- 95% of appointments scheduled within 24 hours
- 100% documentation compliance
- Weekly project tracking and CRM updates
- Stakeholder queries responded to within 1 business day
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in executive support or client services
- Strong knowledge of NDIS processes and disability sector documentation (preferred)
- Certificate III (or higher) in Business Administration (desirable)
- Comfortable with pressure, deadlines, and a leader who works at lightning speed
- Can build trust and rapport while holding yourself to the highest standards
