My client is a fast-growing accounting firm near Essendon. They offer accounting and tax services to clients across all industries including SMEs and large commercial groups. They are after an experienced Bookkeeper to deliver high quality service to their clients.

You will part of a Bookkeeping team whilst working alongside the Tax team. This multifaceted role will also include the opportunity to work in a training capacity for clients in relation to Xero, MYOB & QuickBooks software and day-to-day management of their financials.

Some additional responsibilities include but not limited to:

Managing client ledger and all bookkeeping

Payroll preparation, payment summaries and reconciliations

Accounts payable and receivable

BAS/IAS preparation, monthly and quarterly

Workcover & payroll tax

Attending client meetings with Accountants as required

Applicants:

Approximately 5 years experience or more in a similar role, ideally within an accounting firm

Certificate in Bookkeeping and Accounting ideal

Proficient with Xero

Adaptable and ability to work well in a team environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
