Please Note:

This role will be based in the Mildura area although frequent travel (including interstate) will be required.

The company is based in Shepparton and initial in depth training will be required at their Shepparton operation.

Role Objective:

As a key member of their highly experienced and dedicated service team, the Service Technician will apply broad expertise across electrical and mechanical disciplines to deliver outstanding support to their customers. This hands-on role involves the installation, maintenance, servicing and technical support of a diverse range of machinery - including fully automated grading, packing and palletising lines.

The candidate will need to work both independently and as part of a team, often travelling interstate (including at short notice) to meet customer needs across a range of facilities from large automated operations to small family run packhouses.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, assemble, test and commission a variety of machinery and automation systems.

Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance services to customers.

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.

Support new installations and upgrades of machinery on-site.

Maintain strong communication with customers and internal teams.

Represent the company with professionalism and a commitment to excellent service.

Note: Experience with reading, writing, downloading, and manipulating PLC programs is highly desirable, though not essential.

Skills & Experience:

Certificate 111 in Electrotechnology, or a 4th year apprentice.

Current Victorian driver's licence essential.

Forklift licence desirable.

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities.

Experience in Food Manufacturing or Packing environments preferred.

Practical, hands-on approach with a strong technical aptitude.
