Beyond Early Learning is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our Team as a Part Time Administrative Officer. This person will be based at our head office location, providing administrative and general support to the CEO and the Executive Team.
This part time position is for 15 hours per week offered on a fixed term contract for 12 months. Days and hours of work may be negotiated. This position is available for an immediate start.
The duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
Supporting the CEO with general administration duties (e.g. copying, filing, typing, scheduling meetings organising receipts etc.)
Assisting in the coordination and management of policy revision and renewal.
Assist in the preparation, and filing of meeting agendas and minutes. Assist in administration tasks for corporate events (making bookings, organising travel and resources etc.)
Taking meeting notes if requested
Providing general administrative support to the CEO including Personal Assistant ad-hoc duties
What you'll bring to the job:
Intermediate experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Well-presented and articulate
Ability to multitask and work to deadlines
Who should apply?
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic individual with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, be self-motivated and display initiative. Candidates will be required to have a current Working with Children Check and undertake a National Police Check, if requested to do so.
THE CANDIDATE
To be considered for this role candidates must hold the following:
Work experience in an administrative role;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
A friendly and helpful nature, with a can-do attitude;
Above average computer skills;
Work well as part of a small team, as well as autonomously on a variety of tasks;
High level of accuracy and attention to detail; and
Reliable transport
