GBS Recruitment is proud to partner with this historic Latrobe Valley organisation to recruit their next Marketing Co-ordinator to join them on their continued growth as part of their commercial Group.

About the Role

This is a dynamic, people -focused role that involves both administrative responsibilities and an active presence in the business that blends event coordination, operations, customer service, and team leadership, reporting to the Marketing Manager. With the key objective of this role being a trending increase in sales and customer traffic, your primary accountabilities will include:

• The implementation of strategic marketing plans
• Delivery and coordination of events and activations
• Working closely with their clients to maximise merchandising and advertising opportunities
• Running various activities in order to maximise customer engagement
• Preparation and proof reading of communications and marketing material
• Updating website and working with social media consultants
• Conducting numerous forms of research in order to determine effectiveness of marketing
• Liaison with media organisations for PR and advertising purposes
• Managing key community relationships and stakeholder relationships
• Ensuring that the business presents at the highest of standards at all times
• Complete essential administrative tasks throughout the week, including planning, reporting to Marketing Manager, emails, and scheduling
  

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in delivering marketing plans and programs that drive measurable outcomes in a service industry
• An ability to sell ideas through influence and persuasion
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Creating Social Media content and engagement
• Outstanding stakeholder engagement
• Is comfortable with variable hours as needed and is physically fit for a fast-paced, active role.
• A marketing qualification is preferred
• Brand marketing experience highly advantageous
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
