Ronan Building Pty Ltd is a Newcastle based residential building company specialising is renovations and extensions. We are a family run business and take pride in delivering quality work for our clients. We have a good pipeline of work ahead and are looking for a qualified chippie to join our team.

The role

Working alongside two other carpenters on renovation projects around Newcastle & Lake Macquarie.

All aspects of carpentry, including demolition, framing, fix and fit-off

Reading and interpreting plans and specifications

Maintaining a clean, safe and organised worksite

Liaising respectfully with clients, suppliers and other trades

What we're looking for

Fully qualified carpenter (Cert III in Carpentry)

Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team

Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

Excellent communication and problem solving skills

Own tools of trade, reliable and suitable work vehicle and current driver's licence

Punctuality and consistency

What we offer

$35-$45 per hour (depending on experience)

Full-time employment Fuel card

Pathway to builder's licence

Paid birthday off every year (or nearest Friday to give you another long weekend)
