About the role

The role is based at the Bell Bay Branch reporting to the Branch Manager. The key objectives are to carry out pre hire checks and preparation of equipment as well as servicing in our yard, which will all need to be carried out in line with our procedures and the OEM specific requirements. You may be required to attend customer sites to maintain and service equipment as required. You will be provided with a near new equipped Toyota Hilux vehicle, mobile phone and iPad. the role also involves logistics management, overseeing priorities in the yard, liaising with transport companies, clients as well as walk in and repeat clients. Experience in construction equipment, fleet management or equipment hire would be advantageous.

Skills and experience

We are looking for a self-driven person that is technically minded and takes pride in the quality of their work, the performance and appearance of the equipment. Experience with mechanical servicing of equipment, trucks or cars as a minimum is required, with experience working on plant equipment regarded highly. Previous exposure to construction or civil equipment or equipment hire. Customer facing experience, good computer skills in various software systems, well organized, can handle multiple tasks.
