Hurricane Digital is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our growing team! This part-time position is ideal for someone with a background or studies in accounting who is looking to focus on payroll administration within a fast-paced marketing agency.

As a Payroll Clerk, you'll be responsible for accurately drafting and processing payroll, ensuring timely payments to our employees. You'll collaborate closely with our billing team to ensure all payroll records are maintained correctly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately draft and process payroll for all employees

Maintain and update payroll records in Xero

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies

Assist in resolving any payroll-related inquiries or discrepancies

Collaborate with the billing team to ensure accurate reporting

Key Requirements:

A background or studies in accounting (required)

Proficiency in Xero or similar payroll/accounting software

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
