HVAC Australia is a leading Industrial and Mechanical services and maintenance business operating in the Water, Air Conditioning, Environmental, Telecommunications and Steel Fabrication Industries.

We are looking for a Payroll Officer for 2 Days per week (Monday and Tuesday). Salary is $30-$40/hour + super (depending on experience)

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

· Processing end to end payroll on a weekly basis

· Ensuring compliance with awards and enterprise agreements

· Maintaining payroll records and updating employee details

· Responding to payroll-related queries

· Assisting with payroll reporting and reconciliations

What We’re Looking For

· Previous experience in payroll processing role (medium sized organisation)

· Proficiency with payroll systems (Pronto and MYOB)

· Intermediate excel skills (pivot tables)

· Strong attention to detail and confidentiality

· Excellent communication and time management skills

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

· Solid knowledge of Australian payroll legislation

· Previous experience in EBA’s
