About the role

Torrens Valley Childrens' Centre is seeking a passionate and dedicated Diploma Qualified Childcare Educator to join our team. This part-time/full time role in Gumeracha SA 5233 will allow you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children, supporting their growth and development in a nurturing environment.

What you'll be doing

Planning and implementing engaging educational programs that cater to the individual needs of children

Providing a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, physical and cognitive development of children

Building warm and supportive relationships with children and their families

Observing and documenting children's progress to inform future planning

Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations and centre policies

Collaborating with the centre team to ensure the smooth operation of the service

What we're looking for

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent

Strong understanding of early childhood development and pedagogy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing

Current Working with Children Check, First Aid certification and RRHAN
