Kidman Park Community Children’s Centre is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our dynamic team. If you have a strong background in early childhood education, a love for documentation, and a commitment to creating enriching learning experiences, we want to hear from you!
We are a small community centre located in the back streets of Kidman Park, offering education and care for 53 children a day, across 3 rooms, each has its own dedicated large outdoor learning environment.
Our staff are dedicated professionals who value the importance of maintaining an optimum level of care and education for all children. We select our staff based on knowledge and values, vision for children and learning, and commitment to families.
About the role:
Work alongside a team of dedicated educators to achieve excellence and maintain strong professional relationships with one another.
Willing to work with children aged 3-5 years of age
Support and contribute to deliver a high-quality cycle of planning, curriculum and outcomes for each child in your room.
Ensure that all documentation, of children's learning, is visible and accessible to families and contains high-quality information to meet regulatory requirements.
Create a friendly, secure and stimulating interactive learning environment.
Maintain positive working relationships with all team members.
Ensure a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times.
Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure continuity between home and the centre, providing regular updates and feedback.
About you:
Diploma Qualified, with 2 years minimum experience in an early childhood education setting
Current Working with Children Check
Outstanding level of verbal and written communication
Strong Knowledge and experience of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS)
Strong computer skills and willingness to use centre technology to document
Current approved First Aid Certificate
Current approved Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
Current Child Safe Environment
Must be willing to work rotating shifts between 7:15am – 6pm Monday to Friday
