Citrine Bistro & Bar is a vibrant new restaurant in the heart of Olinda, fast becoming a favourite for both locals and visitors to the Dandenong Ranges. We offer a warm, welcoming space where people gather for special occasions, relaxed evenings with friends, and memorable meals.

In the European tradition, we’re not fine dining — and we’re not a pub. We’re a bistro: a place for beautifully prepared, approachable, seasonal food, served with care and attention.

And we’re growing! We’re on the lookout for a passionate, skilled chef to join our kitchen team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a busy kitchen, has a deep passion for quality food, and can inspire and manage a small, dedicated team. You’ll be responsible for menu development, maintaining high standards of execution and presentation, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring a positive, professional culture in the back of house.

About You

A qualified chef with strong experience in a Head or Senior Chef role

A keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to consistency and quality

Proven leadership and team management skills

A creative approach to menu development, with an understanding of seasonality, costings, & customer appeal

Strong organisational and communication skills

Calm under pressure, with a commitment to consistency and excellence

Available weekends and evenings; local to the area preferred

Confident with ordering and rostering within budget
