About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head Chef to join our team at ( SAINT NIC ) We Love Eating Out Pty Ltd in Oakleigh, VIC. As our Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading and managing our kitchen operations to deliver an exceptional dining experience for our customers. This is a full-time role.

What you'll be doing

Oversee all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management

Develop and implement innovative seasonal menus that showcase your culinary expertise

Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service

Manage and train a team of talented chefs and kitchen staff

Monitor kitchen performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives

Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment

Collaborate with the management team to align kitchen operations with the overall business strategy

What we're looking for

Extensive experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef in a reputable restaurant or hospitality establishment

Demonstrated expertise in creating and executing creative, high-quality menus

Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate your team

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations

Passion for using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and a commitment to sustainable practices

Strong attention to detail and a relentless drive for excellence
