We're a growing Fractional CFO practice seeking a capable, detail-driven Senior Bookkeeper to support our team across multiple clients. This is a 100% work-from-home role with flexible part-time hours (up to 4 days per week).

About the Role

You’ll be responsible for managing the day-to-day bookkeeping and payroll for a small number of clients, working closely with our CFO to deliver accurate, timely financial data. Your work will directly support the strategic financial direction of our clients across a range of industries.

What You’ll Be Doing

Managing end-to-end bookkeeping in Xero

Processing payroll, STP and superannuation in Xero

Completing bank and account reconciliations

Handling accounts payable/receivable and journals

Preparing BAS and IAS (with support)

Assisting with month-end processes and financial reporting

Communicating directly with clients in a professional and proactive manner

About You

5+ years' bookkeeping experience, preferably with a bookkeeping firm or multi-client environment

Strong skills in Xero including Xero Payroll

Excellent knowledge of Australian payroll, GST and BAS compliance

Ability to work independently and manage time across clients

Professional, clear communicator who enjoys building client relationships

Experience with Employment Hero, Dext, ApprovalMax, or Hubdoc (a bonus)
