About the role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our team at Nelsons of Bridgetown. As a highly skilled professional, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for serving exceptional cuisine and delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests. This is a full-time position based in our restaurant in Bridgetown, Western Australia.

What you'll be doing

Preparing and cooking a wide variety of high-quality dishes using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients

Overseeing kitchen operations to ensure efficient workflow and consistent food quality

Collaborating with the manager to develop and refine new menu items

Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment

Adhering to all food safety and health regulations

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Chef, preferably in a high-quality restaurant environment

Strong culinary skills and an excellent understanding of food preparation techniques, flavour profiles and presentation

Passion for creating innovative dishes using fresh, seasonal ingredients

Excellent time management and organisational abilities

Good communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a kitchen

Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene

Qualifications in culinary arts or equivalent experience
