The team is scaling to support a major transition to Microsoft Fabric, with newly created roles forming a critical part of that journey.

The Role

This newly created BI Developer position will sit in the Data Architecture & Engineering team and play a hands-on role in designing, developing and maintaining robust backend BI solutions. You will be instrumental in building ETL pipelines and modelling data in SQL to support enterprise initiatives and Fabric migration activities. This is a backend data role - no Power BI or reporting required - and is best suited to someone who thrives working on SQL and ETL-heavy, infrastructure-aligned projects.

This is a 12 month FTC that offers great hybrid flexibility.

Responsibilities:

• Support the design, delivery and maintenance of data pipelines, warehousing, and reporting tools using Microsoft SQL, Azure, Fabric, and Power BI.
• Transform and model complex data sets to support reporting and analytics needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions.
• Ensure data integrity, system reliability, and timely resolution of BI-related issues.
• Contribute to the design and transition toward a modern BI architecture using Microsoft Fabric.

Requirements:

• 4+ years' experience as a BI Developer/Consultant, with advanced SQL skills (ideally SQL Server).
• Experience with BI reporting and visualisation tools (Power BI and SSRS preferred)
• Strong proficiency in developing ETL processes, including data ingestion via APIs or Python processes.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, relational databases, and modelling methodologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical teams.
