The primary purpose of the role is to oversee the planning, execution, and successful implementation of SAP projects.

This involves managing all aspects of the project lifecycle, including scope definition, timeline management, risk assessment, stakeholder communication, quality assurance and vendor management. The Project Manager SAP is responsible for ensuring that SAP solutions are deployed effectively, meeting business requirements, and driving improvements in business processes and performance.

Responsibilities

• Accountable to the Programme Manager for overall delivery of the SAP projects
• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining timelines, tasks, and resource requirements.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
• Manage resources effectively, including personnel, budget, and infrastructure.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with the implementation.
• Lead efforts to ensure smooth adoption of SAP solutions.
• Establish and maintain quality standards throughout the project.
• Address issues and conflicts promptly to minimise disruptions.
• Track progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with external vendors and consultants involved in the project.
• Liaise with EMPO.

Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as an SAP Project Manager, leading successful SAP implementation projects in NSW Government.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP modules and technologies.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all levels.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Rate: Up to $1,175/day + Super
12 Month term. July 2025 until June 2026.
