Job Description
Griffith Health Clinics is a multidisciplinary primary healthcare service operated by Griffith University. As part of the Health Group, we operate a range of clinics that provide professional services to the community while offering supervised, hands-on clinical experience for our students. These include two Psychology Clinics located at our Brisbane South (Mt Gravatt) and Gold Coast campuses, an Allied Health Clinic at the Gold Coast campus offering services in Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Dietetics, and Speech Pathology, with additional disciplines to be introduced, and a comprehensive Dental Clinic also located at the Gold Coast campus.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Support Officer to join our team at the Psychology Clinics. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our department. You will manage a range of tasks, from coordinating meetings and managing diaries to supporting events and maintaining key administrative systems.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will hold:
An Associate Diploma with relevant experience or a combination of relevant skills, knowledge and experience
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to contribute to a high-performing team.
Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong IT skills and experience in the use of the MS suite of programs and applications.
What we can offer
This is a continuing, part-time (50%) position primarily based at Griffith University’s Brisbane South (Mt Gravatt). It offers the flexibility of shorter hours spread across the week, Monday to Friday. The role may be ideally suited to someone looking for work during school hours, providing a great opportunity to balance professional responsibilities with other commitments.
As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations. Griffith University’s sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul, Yuggera, Jagera, Turrbal, Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 4 range $73,623 - $77,680 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total full time FTE package will be in the range $86,139 - $90,886 per annum.
