About the Position
We are looking to welcome a People and Culture Advisor to support leaders and teams in the Directorates of Family Support Services, Early Intervention & Assessment Services, Therapy & Specialist Services and SafeKids.
The position reports to the Executive Director Service Operations and works in close collaboration with the Director People Culture and Safety. This HR generalist role supports teams with recruitment and selection; onboarding; learning and development; reward and recognition; and employee engagement and retention.

- Full time permanent opportunity.
- Hybrid working – work between home, our Milton office, and other sites as needed.
- Flexible working – option to work a compressed 9 day fortnight.
- $95k base + Super + Salary Packaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and support in the areas of recruitment and selection; onboarding; learning and development; reward and recognition; and employee engagement and retention.
- Develop and implement efficient and innovative recruitment and selection tactics, develop engaging advertising and sourcing materials across all media to attract top talent in a competitive market, and develop recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment campaigns.
- Develop and implement effective employee engagement and workforce development initiatives that will enhance culture, team member capability, and bolster overall satisfaction and retention rates.
- Provide advice, coaching, feedback, and support to leaders to effectively develop, maintain team performance.
- Develop and deliver training to teams in HR related topics (eg. recruitment, engagement, values) through face-to-face or online delivery methods.
- Consult with the Employee Relations Specialist, responsible for managing complex and formal performance management matters, about emerging ER matters across directorates.

About You
- Tertiary qualification in human resources, organisational behaviour, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a HR generalist supporting teams through the employee life cycle, particularly recruitment and selection, learning and development, engagement and retention, workforce capability development.
- Some emerging experience in performance management and employee relations would be advantageous.
- Ability to provide credible advice and guidance to teams on HR-related matters.
- Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Strong written communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail, to develop creative and effective communication.
- Down-to-earth, caring, professional, contributing positively to team dynamics.

Other Requirements
- Eligibility for a Working with Children Check or professional exemption.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Legally able work in Australia (proof of eligibility will be requested).
- Willingness to travel to directorate locations as required.
- Eligibility for a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Willingness to undergo and pass a Child Safety Personal History Screening Check (LCS2).
