JGI are seeking a casual weighbridge operator to join our team in Townsville.

To be successful in this role applicants will need excellent customer service skills and the ability to develop a good knowledge of quarry/recycle products, as well as:

Experience as a weighbridge operator preferred but not essential

Understanding of truck sizes, tare and recycling materials helpful, but not essential

computer skills and ability to learn new programs a must

Good communication skills

Ability to learn new skills quickly and effectively

Available to work within the hours of 6.30am – 4.30pm, Saturday 7.00am - 12.00pm

Own transport a must

Responsibilities include:

Weighbridge operation including assessing the content of incoming and outgoing trucks

Regular communication via UHF radio with staff and customers onsite

Supporting the team with ad-hoc duties as required
