Iolar Operational Services (IOS) is seeking to engage an individual to work as a plant operator. IOS manages and operates the Chinchilla, Miles and Dalby waste recovery centres on behalf of Council.

Preferred skills include:

Competency / ticket to operate backhoe required

Capability to work outside & undertake labouring and gardening activities.

Waste management experience desirable.

Workplace Health and Safety knowledge and experience in the implementation of system requirements.

Good customer service and experience with dealing with challenging situations.

Computer/tablet and mobile phone literate

Learn the weighbridge operator role to cover breaks

Able to work as a team or on own

Location: Working predominantly at Chinchilla and Miles. (Dalby as required)

Job Type: Casual.

Days of Work: up to 4 days per week including weekends.

Hours of Work: 6 to 8 hours / day

Pay Rates: Weekday rates from $36.39/hr with weekend starting from $46.58/hr (Rates in accordance with the Waste Management Award and relevant classification.)
