Position: Admin/Customer Operations Officer (Fleet)
Location: Logan
Employment Type: Mon – Fri, until Jan 2026 with possibility of extension
Payrate: $39/hr + super
Maxima is currently seeking various highly motivated individuals as Admin and Customer Operations Officer (Fleet) for one of our government clients.
In this role, you’ll be the face of the Plant Fleet Services, delivering outstanding customer service while coordinating vehicle inductions, driver training and breakdown support for client’s diverse fleet.
You’ll manage executive calendars, correspondence, reporting, research tasks and coordination of key programs. You’ll also lead and supervise Business Support Officers, fostering an efficient, customer-focused administrative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage fleet service requests and liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers
- Coordinate plant/vehicle deliveries, pickups, audits, and job cards
- Facilitate inductions and driver training programs across the organisation
- Support Council's compliance by maintaining accurate records and audits
- Build strong relationships with staff, contractors, and service providers
What We’re Looking For:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or willing to obtain)
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of major/minor plant and vehicle operations
- Demonstrated experience in delivering inductions and vehicle operator training
- Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and asset management systems
- Valid “C” class driver’s licence
- General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) ticket – White Card
- Ability to pass pre-employment health checks (including Functional Capacity & Hearing tests)
- Uniform and PPE compliance
- Vaccination requirements: Hep A, Hep B, Tetanus, Q Fever (will be done through client)
- After-hours availability may be required
Desirable:
- HR/HC driver’s licence
- Open class & forklift licence
- Knowledge of hire industry
