The Opportunity

We’re partnering with an innovative organisation in the construction sector to recruit a Head of IT Applications & Integration. This is a permanent, full-time leadership role, offering hybrid flexibility and the chance to shape the future of technology and data integration in a fast-evolving industry.

You’ll lead the strategic direction and operational excellence of the company’s enterprise application portfolio, integration stack, and data assets. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation, embedding modern data architecture, and delivering scalable, secure technology solutions that support ESG goals, including implementing Scope 3 ESG reporting capability, and leveraging AI advancements.

What You’ll Do

Design and execute a comprehensive 3-year IT applications and integration strategy aligned with business objectives and emerging technologies

Lead the integration of key SaaS platforms such as Autodesk, ProcurePro, Aconex, and PayApps to ensure seamless data flow and business process efficiency

Implement a Scope 3 ESG reporting capability, enabling the organisation to accurately track and report environmental impact across its supply chain

Manage and optimise the company’s application portfolio and integration technologies, fostering interoperability and user-friendly solutions

Collaborate with senior business stakeholders, internal teams, and external suppliers to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative IT solutions

Drive company-wide software rollouts and change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption

Troubleshoot data transformation and integration issues, maintaining high data integrity and reporting accuracy

Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture focused on continuous improvement and technical growth

Identify and recommend emerging technologies and industry best practices, challenging the status quo and driving innovation

Apply ITIL and ISO27001 best practices to maintain governance, risk management, and service stability

About You

5+ years’ experience managing enterprise IT applications, data integration, or related functions

Deep experience with API gateways, data warehousing, and scalable integration architecture

Proven ability to develop and execute long-term IT and data strategies

Experience integrating complex SaaS ecosystems including construction industry platforms such as Autodesk, ProcurePro, Aconex, and PayApps

Knowledge of ESG reporting requirements, with hands-on experience implementing Scope 3 reporting preferred

Strong project management skills and a history of delivering complex initiatives on time

Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills

Resilient and proactive with a positive, solution-oriented mindset

Construction industry experience is highly regarded
