They have a strong pipeline of work especially with providing critical design and power solutions. Clients include the world's largest technology, energy, utility and mining companies.

Position responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Engineering you will work with a dynamic team responsible for the design, fabrication and installation of generators, fuel and control systems and hybrid power systems. You will also work directly with the Managing Director on special strategic projects focussed on future growth and innovation. A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or related discipline). Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or Registered Professional Engineer (RPEng) status, or eligibility to attain this within 6 months, is highly regarded.

Senior Engineering Technical Experience: Extensive experience in mechanical engineering, including a successful track record in senior or principal-level roles. Experience leading the design of balance of plant, power generation or heavy industrial projects is preferred.

Standards & Compliance: Strong familiarity with Australian Standards and codes relevant to mechanical and power generation systems (e.g. AS 1657, AS 1940, AS/NZS 3000, WHS regulations). Demonstrated ability to conduct detailed engineering calculations and design verification to ensure all solutions meet rigorous safety and compliance requirements.

Project Delivery in Complex Environments: Proven experience delivering engineering solutions in complex, safety-critical environments (for example, defence projects, hospitals, data centres or other critical infrastructure). Ability to manage projects end-to-end and coordinate multidisciplinary teams through design, construction, and commissioning phases.

Influencing & Communication: Good influencing and stakeholder management skills. You can communicate technical concepts clearly and can build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and senior management. You are adept at problem-solving and make sound decisions under time pressure.

Professional Attributes: A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for outcomes. You strive for engineering excellence, openly share knowledge, and foster a collaborative team culture. You are a team player who can inspire confidence, drive positive change, and continuously seek improvements in processes and performance.
