Hit the ground running
To support our strategic people objectives, we are looking for an experienced People Business Partner to join our People Services team. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, this is a true business partnering role where your ability to coach and support people leaders will contribute to the uplift of the people experience, performance optimisation, and talent enablement.
About the role
Proactively coach leaders to have effective performance and development conversations and embed a performance-driven culture that values accountability, feedback, and growth
Strengthen leadership capabilities through proactive coaching and development
Provide trusted guidance and advice to managers and the business to navigate complex ER/IR matters
Produce and present timely and relevant reports.
Approach the role with a solution focused people centric mindset.
You will demonstrate:
Experience as a People Business Partner or Senior HRBP
End-to-end experience supporting the management of complex employee relations matters, including but not limited to underperformance and misconduct
Comprehensive understanding of industrial frameworks (Modern Awards, employment law) and applies them with sound judgement.
Ability to build rapport and strong partnerships with business leaders.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills – written and verbal
Strong capability in data analysis, problem-solving, innovation and evidence-based practice.
Confidence in advising, coaching, and facilitating people leaders – whether it’s in a 1:1 or group setting.
Key screening and requirements:
Working with Children Check and National Police Check
Be eligible to work in Australia
Current valid Driver’s Licence.
